Thursday April 25, 2013 at 12:57 pm PDT is a full Moon in the passionate and intense Water sign Scorpio. You might feel pessimistic because this full Moon blends with Saturn in Scorpio. An eclipse is an absence of light when the “shadow” is seen making this an opportune time to gain insight to facilitate your best growth and transformation.

Scorpio is a very powerful sign so there could be issues of power; balancing power in relationships, and finding power to succeed in life. Reflections on how to use power wisely are rewarding in this penetrating Water Snake year.

Plus this full Moon trines Neptune and sextiles Pluto to stimulate your creative imagination, and brings more empathy and the desire to help others. Nothing is superficial, and there is an attraction to the occult or hidden. Secrets can be revealed, especially under the influence of Scorpio.

DAY OF THE PHOENIX

This full Moon eclipse occurs on the day of the Phoenix (Rooster) during the month of the Dragon in this Snake year. This is lucky because Phoenix and Snake are best friends. Both of these signs are dedicated to growth, rebirth, and transformation. Phoenix and Dragon are also very compatible. Together they are a symbol of marriage, and the unity of yin and yang. The energy of this full Moon eclipse is felt most deeply by the Water signs Scorpio, Pisces, and Cancer and those born in Phoenix, Snake, and Dragon years.

Happy full Moon,

Susan
