snake ringHighlights this week are a night out or a change of routine on Water Sheep Wednesday, and fun social times on both Fire Dog Saturday and Fire Pig Sunday!

Mon Jan 5 is Metal SNAKE (white Snake) day. Energy begins to wane after the full Moon peak last night. Time to slow down and create calm on this Snake day. Snake is deliberate and thoughtful. Mercury conjunct Venus, good for expressing your feelings, is grounded by sextiles to practical Saturn. Sun conjunct intense Pluto squares Uranus, bringing a new view to see the world. Can contemplate, then focus on goals. White Snake hits the target. Snake day luck strong for Snake, Ox, Dragon, and Phoenix (Rooster). Snake hours 9 -11 am.

Tues Jan 6 is DOUBLE HORSE day: Water Horse day in this Wood Horse year! Still six more weeks of Horse year until Wood Sheep year begins on the new Moon of February 18, 2015. Moon trines Saturn for emotional stability while taking action on this double Horse day. Follow through on your dreams, you can complete projects, and honor your ideals. Mars opposite Jupiter calls for a grand gesture, so easy to overspend or overextend. Try not to be domineering of others if they don’t allow you complete freedom. Double Horse day luck strong for Horse, Tiger, Sheep, and Dog.

Wed Jan 7 is Water SHEEP day. Moon conjunct Jupiter bringing generosity, good feelings, and needed emotional relief from unsteady Uranus squares. Water Sheep energy brings calm, peace, and healing. Moon trines Uranus for a change of scenery tonight. Good for social engagements or a night out. Plus sensitive Waters Sheep day is fortunate for home improvement, decorating, and feng shui adjustments. Sheep day luck strong for Sheep, Rabbit, Horse, and Pig. Sheep hours 1 – 3 pm.

Thurs Jan 8 is Wood MONKEY day. Monkey day is fortunate in this Rat month because Monkey, Rat, and Dragon are best friends. And some luck is needed today! The Moon is opposite Mars and Neptune, and squares Saturn in a big T-square. Easy to get irritated, are less tolerant of others, and little things could annoy you. Hold back the impulse to speak without thought. Analyzing the actions of others can lead to monkey-mind tail chasing. The ongoing Uranus square Pluto brings out the rebel in nonconformist Monkey. Monkey day luck strong for Monkey, Rat, Dragon, and Snake. Monkey hours 3 – 5 pm.

Fri Jan 9 is Wood PHOENIX (Rooster) day. The Moon trines Pluto for empathy and increased sensitivity. The Sun conjuncts Pluto bringing the desire to go deeper. But the Moon is opposite Neptune so not a day for serious decisions. Mars squares Saturn so slow down if there are obstacles in your path. Plus Mars conjunct Neptune can be disorienting. Take care of self and others. Phoenix day luck strong for Phoenix, Ox, Dragon, and Snake. Phoenix hours 5 – 7 pm.

Sat Jan 10 is Fire DOG (red Dog) day. Dog days are lucky in Horse year. This morning is the fortunate aspect of Sun trine Moon bringing inner peace, balance, and equilibrium to three major conjunctions: Mercury conjunct Venus continues for pleasant conversations and networking. Nice for a party or get together. Mars conjunct Neptune sets the tone whereby all facts have not surfaced. Do not accept things at face value. The intensity and focus of Sun conjunct Pluto is ideal for Dog to sniff out the truth. Dog day luck strong for Dog, Rabbit, Tiger, and Horse. Dog hours 7 – 9 pm.

Sun Jan 11 is Fire PIG day. Moon trines Mercury conjunct Venus to be in touch with your feelings, and able to easily communicate. There is more interest in art, love, beauty, and fine food. Moon sextiles Saturn for a calm sense of duty that is refreshing. Mercury conjunct Venus sextiles Uranus for something different, maybe a day trip out of town. Mars, Saturn, and Pluto squares are in the heavens, but not to worry on a Pig day. Pig day luck strong for Pig, Tiger, Rabbit, and Sheep. Pig hours 9 – 11 pm.

Good luck and have a great week,

Susan
