In Western astrology, June is the month of GEMINI the Twins. In Chinese astrology, June the month of the HORSE. Horse is fun, adventurous, independent, dynamic, strong, and free spirited. So in the spirit of the Horse, June is time to lighten up, be social, and have some fun! Cast a few cares to the wind and try new adventures. Horse loves the herd so attend outdoor events, fairs, and festivals. Short trips and local journeys are a wonderful way to release some of this Horsey energy and excitement. Luck for new discoveries and inspiration is for all, especially the Air signs Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius and those born in Horse, Dog, and Tiger years.
There are five Chinese elements: fire, earth, metal, water, and wood. This June is the month of the WOOD Horse. The element Wood is symbolic of growth in springtime, like fresh shoots seeking fast growth and development. Horse’s earthly branch (core essence) is Fire. Wood nurtures Fire, helps Fire to grow, so you can cover much ground, swiftly develop projects, and have quick success. It’s easier to follow your gut instincts, just like a real Horse. But if events are slowed due to the eclipses on June 1, June 15, and July 1 some patience may be required. Gemini and Horse have many sparkling, inspired, witty, wonderful, and creative virtues — but patience is not one of them!
