Highlights this week are the NEW MOON on Monday at 12:51 pm PDT that starts the month of the artistic Wood Hare, an intuitive DOUBLE HARE day on Thursday, and a healing DOUBLE SNAKE day on Saturday.

Mon March 11 is an active Fire Rat day to get going and pursue goals. But diplomacy is key because today is a NEW MOON at 12:51 pm PDT that starts the month of the Wood Hare, the second month in this Snake year 2013. Hare qualities are kindness, gentleness, and appreciation of art and beauty. Under Hare’s influence this month, kindness is more important than material gain. Developing art and beauty can be easier because this new Moon blends with the planet Venus to bring an easy flow of love, art, and creativity. Time for some feng shui adjustments this month to enhance the beauty of your home. Luck today is strongest for Rat, Ox, Dragon, and Monkey and during Rat hours 11 pm – 1 am.

Tues March 12 is an energetic Fire Ox day to follow through and not be swayed by outside influences. The Moon blends with Mars and Uranus so people can be irritable, rash, or fly off the handle. But Ox’s natural strength helps to maintain focus, dignity, and patience. Note that today is not a good day for decisions, especially with Mercury still retrograde until March 17. Luck is strongest for Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix and during Ox hours 1 am – 3 am.

Wed March 13 is a passionate Earth Tiger day to show off a bit, let off steam, and roar! The Earth Tiger is the the yellow Tiger, also referred to as the gold Tiger, a lucky and generally a fortunate sign. You can honestly be in touch with your feelings — good or bad. The Moon squares Pluto so try to avoid a big argument, especially during this peaceful Hare month. Instead, use today’s powerful Tiger energy to inspire others and be a leader. Luck is strongest for Tiger, Dog, Horse, and Pig and during Tiger hours 3 am – 5 am.

Thurs March 14 is an intuitive DOUBLE HARE day; an Earth Hare day in a Wood Hare month. You might feel a bit psychic and more sensitive to people’s moods as the Moon makes a lucky star sextile to both Neptune and Mercury. These are excellent lunar aspects for interest in the occult — and for the reading of horoscopes! It’s much easier to communicate and get along well with others. You can smooth over any difficulties if Tiger day yesterday was a bit testy. Luck is strongest for Hare, Sheep, Dog, and Pig and during Hare hours 5 am – 7 am.

Fri March 15 is a powerful Metal Dragon day when no one wants to be told what to do. Independence is valued more than working towards a collective goal. The Moon is opposite Saturn so you might feel lonely or alone, but use that energy to focus inward on your goals instead of seeking approval from others. The Moon trines Pluto adding passion and emotions to your creativity. An excellent day for artistic projects that requires singular focus. Luck is strongest for Dragon, Rat, Snake, and Monkey and during Dragon hours 7 am – 9 am.

Sat March 16 is a DOUBLE SNAKE day, a Metal Snake day in a Water Snake year. In Chinese astrology and cosmology, Metal is the “mother” of Water because a metal vessel or container can hold Water. This means that today is for mothering, nurturing, and taking care. Slow down and take some time for a healing bath or mini vacation. The Moon makes a fortunate sextile to both the Sun and Venus for balance and harmony. Relationships are good, and it’s nice to entertain at home or meet friends. Luck is strongest for Snake, Ox, Monkey, and Phoenix and during Snake hours 9 am – 11 am.

Sun March 17 is Water Horse day to get outside, explore, and be athletic. The Moon sextiles both Mars and Uranus for courage, self reliance, and the desire for excitement or change of scenery. Tonight the Moon blends with Jupiter for good social times and fun. And the planet Mercury is no longer retrograde so communication can be easier and more direct. Mercury goes direct at 1:03 pm PDT. Luck is strongest for the Horse, Tiger, Sheep, and Dog and during Horse hours 11 am – 1 pm.

Have a great week!

Love,

Susan
