Leaves LipAUTUMN EQUINOX

Monday September 22, 2014 is Autumn Equinox at 7:29 pm PDT. Equinox and Solstice are astronomical events caused by Earth’s tilt on its axis and continual orbit around the Sun. Equinox is a time of balance as the seasonal wheel turns. Fortunately the Moon trines Pluto for good self expression and insights. Pluto is no longer retrograde, goes direct today, for less emotional turmoil or unconsciousness behavior.

NEW MOON IN LIBRA

Tuesday September 23 is a New Moon in Libra at 11:14 pm PDT. Air sign Libra rules the 7th house of marriage and partnership. This New Moon conjuncts Sun and Venus to focus on creativity in relationships. Plus the New Moon sextiles Saturn to understand others, and appreciate friendships that stood the test of time. This lunar cycle is opportune to network and expand your circle.

On Friday is a grand Fire trine of Mars in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Leo, and Uranus in Aries. This grand trine is superb for all kinds of activities; you can plan with foresight and see the big picture, business transactions are favored, and natural optimism leads to beneficial results. You can grasp new ideas quickly, and fortunate discoveries or inventions happen as if by accident.

WOOD DOG MONTHS

This New Moon begins two consecutive Wood Dog months. Wood Dog months are extremely auspicious in this Wood Horse year because Dog and Horse are best friends. Wood represents growth and expansion. Action is rewarded, and it’s good to focus on goals.

New Moon opportunities for growth and development are for everyone, and are strongest for Air signs Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini and those born in Dog, Rabbit, Tiger, and Horse years.
