Highlights this week are double Fire Rat New Years Eve, and a powerful full Moon at 8:53 pm PT on white Dragon Sunday!
Mon Dec 29 is Wood DOG day. Dog days are lucky in Horse year because Dog and Horse are best friends. Moon sextiles Mars bringing strength and courage that’s idea on a Dog day. Moon conjuncts Uranus for freedom of expression. But Moon squares Sun and Mercury so avoid arguments. Sun and Mercury conjunct Pluto so communication is serious and no-nonsense like Dog. Saturn squares Neptune to stay realistic. The ongoing Saturn square Pluto brings out Dog’s humanist values, and desire to fight for the underdog. Dog day luck strong for Dog, Rabbit, Tiger, and Horse. Dog hours 7 – 9 pm.
Tues Dec 30 is Wood PIG day. Moon trines Sun for harmony and an easier flow in life. Moon sextiles Neptune bringing sensitivity to the moods of others, and in some instances brings psychic ability. Mercury conjunct Venus adds to the appreciation of art, music, beauty, and Pig’s favorite — good food! Sun conjunct Pluto intensity lightens under the influence of kind-hearted Pig. Pig day luck strong for Pig, Tiger, Rabbit, and Sheep. Pig hours 9 – 11 pm.
Wed Dec 31 is double Fire RAT: Fire Rat day in Fire Rat month. Social Rat loves the pack so time for a fun New Years Eve. (Gregorian New Year. Chinese New Year of the Wood Sheep is in February.) The Moon trines Sun, Mercury and Pluto for breakthrough conversations and encounters. Plus Moon squares Jupiter, but is a good square due to the influence of beneficial Jupiter, for strong feelings, enjoying the company of others, and to be in touch with your emotions. Rat day luck strong for Rat, Ox, Dragon, and Monkey. Rat hours 11 pm – 1 am.
Thurs Jan 1 is Fire OX day. Moon trines Mercury and Venus for good self expression and pleasant feelings. OK to experiment with new ideas and concepts on New Years day. Note that Moon opposite Saturn brings a serious tone, but that’s just fine with responsible, reliable Ox. Ox day luck strong for Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix (Rooster). Ox hours 1 am – 3 am.
Fri Jan 2 is Earth TIGER day. Tiger days are fortunate in Horse year. Moon sextiles Uranus bringing the restlessness and desire for excitement that Tiger craves. Sun continues to squares Uranus so no one wants to follow routine. Venus sextiles Saturn so relationships are important. Fine for a celebration tonight, or an out-of-town adventure. Sat Jan 3 is Earth RABBIT day, the lovely gold Rabbit. Moon trines Mars to stand your ground, and let no one take advantage of you. Mercury and Venus sextile Saturn to make changes in your environment that add beauty. Start the new year with good feng shui!
