2016 Gemini Full Moon

FULL MOON in GEMINI

December 13, 2016 is a full Moon in Gemini. Air sign Gemini brings invigorating energy this holiday season. This full Moon is fortunate because it trines Mars in Aquarius and Jupiter in Libra. You can take the initiative because luck is on your side.

The Sun conjuncts Saturn in Sagittarius so pay attention to responsibilities, although people might not feel like working too hard because this conjunction is opposite the full Moon. Fortunately, the Sun and Saturn trine Uranus in Aries to balance restlessness.

A cardinal T-square of Jupiter opposite Uranus, and both Jupiter and Uranus squaring Pluto, can bring a dislike of any restrictions. For some, there may be a desire to throw off the old and embrace the new just for the sake of novelty. It’s best to avoid drastic measures, even if you feel a sense of urgency during the tail of this active Fire Monkey year.

Mercury conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn bringing powerful mental activity to focus on serious communication, especially before Mercury goes retrograde on December 19 for three weeks until January 8, 2017. Even though Mercury retrograde ends January 8, we still feel the Mercury retrograde influence until the next new Moon on January 27 starts a new life cycle. (And happens to be Chinese New Year!) Due to the influence of Earth sign Capricorn, this Mercury retrograde cycle can be a good time to review personal and business finances.
