WINTER SOLSTICE 2012
Friday December 21 is Winter Solstice, the longest night in the northern hemisphere. After this dark night, sunlight increases as the solar year begins again, making Winter Solstice a time for new beginnings. And the world does not end! The Mayan Long Count calendar completes, but then starts a new astrological cycle based on the number two for cooperation and working collectively.
