November 19, 2021 at 12:57 am PST is a full Moon in Taurus. At 1:02 am PST is a partial lunar eclipse, reddish in color and visible in North and Central America, and parts of Asia and the Pacific including Australia. The eclipse will last for almost 3 and 1/2 hours, and is the longest partial solar eclipse in 580 years.

This eclipse is in Earth sign Taurus that rules the 2nd house of physical belongings, personal finances, and the abundance of Mother Earth. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning that Taurus is the best sign for the Moon. An eclipse is an absence of light when a shadow is seen. You can recognize and appreciate the earthly abundance that surrounds you.

Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, named after the goddess of love, art, and beauty. During the eclipse, Venus in Earth sign Capricorn sextiles Mars in passionate Scorpio. This transit favors love, romance, and the formation of new friendships. Venus trines Uranus in Taurus bringing the desire for something different and exciting to spice up the holiday season. The full Moon trines Pluto in Capricorn for positive and creative growth that is emotionally rewarding.

The full Moon is opposite the Sun and Mercury both in Scorpio. Focus on maintaining harmony between your work life and home life. The Sun and Mercury trine Neptune in Pisces providing an opportunity to be in touch with your feelings, and empathetic towards others. The Sun and Mercury sextile Pluto for transformative conversations and valuable insights. Eclipses come in pairs, and the next new Moon on December 3 is also an eclipse. The Moon, Sun, and Mercury square Jupiter in Aquarius. Under the influence of expansive Jupiter, it’s easy to be excessive with your favorite pleasures, especially during the peak of this Earth Pig lunar month. People tend to make big plans and set long-range goals, but it’s better to examine the plans you already have.

Uranus is opposite Mars so be careful while driving and traveling. Avoid others who are driving erratically, and steer clear of unruly airplane passengers. Uranus squares Saturn in Aquarius that could challenge your sense of order and discipline. Still, it’s fine for some indulgences during this Earth Pig month. Luck is strongest for Earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn and those born in Ox, Snake, Phoenix (Rooster), and Pig years.

Happy full Moon,
