April 16, 2022 at 11:55 am PDT is a full Moon in Libra. Air sign Libra rules the 7th house of marriage and partnership. Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet named for the goddess of art, love, and beauty. So focus is on close relationships, and ways to create peace and harmony through balance and fairness.

Truthful emotions and empathetic interactions are important as Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune are all in Water sign Pisces. The influence of Jupiter conjunct Neptune can bring out the best in people, with greater compassion and idealism.

Jupiter is in Pisces every 12 years. But Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Pisces last occurred 166 years ago in 1856. Then as now, it’s a time of cultural and spiritual growth and expansion. Plus Jupiter and Neptune are the ruling planets of Pisces, adding luck and good fortune.

This full Moon marks the peak of sensitive Water Dragon month. There is a feeling that the volume is turned up in Dragon month. Life events could have a fated quality, or opportunities could arise suddenly that require quick decision making in Tiger year. So step forward and be brave during this Dragon month in Tiger year!

Use Dragon power and determination now, and during the next two weeks as the full Moon wanes, to put plans into motion. If plans are already in motion, use your energy to tie up loose ends because Mercury will be retrograde May 10 – June 3. But really May 3 – June 10 (note the reversed dates) if you include the one week shadow period the week before and the week after Mercury retrograde.

Happy full Moon,
