Communication planet Mercury is retrograde for three weeks three times a year.

From June 7 to July 1, 2014 Mercury is retrograde in Gemini. That’s helpful because Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini. Events fly by, and energy is wildly fast paced in this double Horse month.

But it’s a Metal Horse month in Wood Horse year; Metal chops Wood so be cautious and avoid accidents. Yet double Horse month can bring sudden opportunities, and is especially favorable for those born in Horse, Tiger, Dog, and Sheep years and the Air signs Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

There will be one more Mercury retrograde in 2014 from October 4 – 25 in Air sign Libra. Relationships will be important under the influence of Libra. This retrograde can bring opportunities to thoroughly communicate to loved ones. October will be a Wood Dog month that is very compatible with the energy of this Wood Horse year.
