Highlights this week are fun Pig Wednesday, lively Fire Tiger Saturday, and gentle Rabbit Sunday.

Mon Aug 18 is Metal PHOENIX (Rooster) day. Moon sextiles Venus and Jupiter for pleasant times, nice rapport, and good feelings. But Moon squares Mercury and Neptune whereby emotions could be misunderstood, or people prefer fantasy to reality. Plus Venus squares Mars so easy to nitpick or find fault in relationships. Phoenix day luck strong for Phoenix, Ox, Dragon, and Snake. Phoenix hours 5 – 7 pm.

Tues Aug 19 is Water DOG (black Dog) day. Dog days are fortunate in Horse year. Venus conjunct Jupiter continues so enjoy life and appreciate relationships. Loyalty is important on a Dog day. Kindness in relationships softens Venus squares Mars. But Mars conjuncts Saturn so must slow down, which no one wants to do in Horse year. Dog day luck strong for Dog, Rabbit, Tiger, and Horse. Dog hours 7 – 9 pm.

Wed Aug 20 is Water PIG day. Moon trines Neptune for strong intuition, increased perception, and sensitivity. But Sun and Mercury are opposite Neptune so perhaps some confusion or uncertainty. Not the day for plans or discipline; Pig is a free spirit. Pig day luck strong for Pig, Tiger, Rabbit, and Sheep. Pig hours 9 – 11 pm.

Thurs Aug 21 is Wood RAT day with many lucky trines. Moon trines Mars and Saturn to be realistic, and for strength to stand your ground. Mercury trines Pluto bringing interest in what’s below the surface. Venus trines Uranus for something different, a change of pace. But Moon squares Uranus and is opposite Pluto can be too hasty, jump to wrong conclusions, or emotions not harmonious. Rat day luck strong for Rat, Ox, Dragon, and Monkey. Rat hours 11 pm – 1 am.

Fri Aug 22 is Wood OX day. No strong lunar aspects so can feel not connected emotionally. A bit adrift helped by grounding influence of Ox day. Many aspects to Venus so appreciate beauty. Venus conjuncts Jupiter for luck in love, Venus squares Mars and Saturn for relationship intensity, plus Venus trines Uranus for something new. Ox day luck strong for Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix (Rooster). Ox hours 1 am – 3 am.

Sat Aug 23 is Fire TIGER (red Tiger) day. Moon conjuncts Venus and Jupiter, and trines Uranus, for good feelings, warm emotions, and to celebrate and enjoy life. Many astrological aspects to Venus bring love luck and romance. Can stay calm down on this Fire Tiger day as energy winds down to New Moon on Sunday. Tiger day luck strong for Tiger, Dog, Horse, and Pig. Tiger hours 3 am – 5 am.

Sun Aug 24 is Fire RABBIT day. Moon squares Mars conjunct Saturn so can feel irritable, a bit blue, or frustrated if you have to go slow. Many Venus aspects, including Venus conjunct Moon and Jupiter, for some pampering, luxury, and taking care on a Rabbit day. Rabbit diplomacy helps to smooth over relationship problems. Energy winds down to New Moon tomorrow at 7:13 am PDT that begins Water PHOENIX (Rooster) month. Rabbit day luck strong for Rabbit, Sheep, Dog, and Pig. Rabbit hours 5 – 7 am.
