NEW MOON ECLIPSE

Happy New Year! 2019 starts with two eclipses:
The new Moon on January 5, 2019 is a solar eclipse. The full Moon on January 20 will be a lunar eclipse.

The January 5 eclipse is in Earth sign Capricorn to clear out material things, and release all that we do not need. The January 20 eclipse is in Fire sign Leo to focus on art and self expression, to find or develop hidden talents to let them shine.

On the January 5 eclipse, the Sun, new Moon, Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto are all in Capricorn. This brings a serious tone, but makes an ideal lunar cycle to complete practical matters such as health check-ups and work projects. It’s easier to stay focused and keep working.

And make time for some loving! Venus trines Mars, newly in rulership sign Aries, for some romance and luck in relationships. Contact me for your relationship forecast for 2019.

WOOD OX MONTH Jan 5 – Feb 3

This new Moon begins the month of the solid and reliable Ox. The inspirational element Wood adds energy and enthusiasm to the Ox. Luck is strong for those born in Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix (Rooster) years, and for the Earth signs Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo.

This Ox month is the final month of the Dog year. The next new Moon starts the year of the Pig. Join me for my Pig year talk on Sunday January 13 from 2 – 3:30 pm at East West Books, 324 Castro Street in Mt. View CA. Link for Tickets.

Happy New Moon,

Susan
