December 25 2019 is a new Moon eclipse in Capricorn. Earth sign Capricorn rules the 10th house of career, social contribution, and is the house of parents. The new Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto are all in Capricorn so life outlook could become very serious.

And with an eclipse, many things could be left unsaid, or emotions can brew under the surface. Fortunately, the new Moon, Sun, and Jupiter trine Uranus in Taurus for unexpected holiday delights!

This new Moon begins the month of the Ox, the final month in the Asian lunar calendar. Time to complete what was started in this Pig year, and get organized for Chinese New Year on the next new Moon that begins Metal Rat year.

Of the five Taoist elements Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood, this is the Fire Ox month that adds brightness and light. Ox month is luckiest for Earth signs Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo and those born in Ox, Rat, Dragon, and Phoenix (Rooster) years.
