Lunar Eclipse in Cancer

January 10 2020 is a full Moon eclipse in Cancer. Water sign Cancer rules the 4th house of home and family. This eclipse is time to shine light on your home and living situation, to focus on self care, and care of family. Cancer is the astrology that rules the Moon, making this full Moon easier to get in touch with feelings. The full Moon eclipse trines Neptune in Pisces for increased sensitivity and imagination.

The full Moon eclipse is opposite the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all in Capricorn. Earth sign Capricorn rules the 10th house of work and career. So there could be a question of how to balance Cancer nurturing with Capricorn career obligations. People could be carrying too many burdens, or the burdens of others, especially now during the peak of Ox lunar month.

Slow, strong, and steady is how Ox succeeds. This is easier to do with many planets in Capricorn. So pace yourself, and patiently listen to others. For some, it may be time for career change for a healthier lifestyle. Contact me for your personal Rat year astrology forecast for planning and timing in 2020.

Saturn Conjunct Pluto

A dynamic aspect of the Capricorn stellium is Saturn conjunct Pluto. Saturn represents structure and organization. The structure of Saturn, especially financial and government structures under the sign of Capricorn, blends with Pluto. Pluto represents power and transformation, and can bring liberating change — or change like a plutonium bomb. On both a global and personal scale, some structures come to an end. Seeds can be planted to start a new fourteen year Saturn cycle.

The new Moon in two weeks begins the year of the Rat. Join me for my 2020 Year of the Metal Rat talk on Sunday January 26 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at East West Bookshop, 324 Castro Street in Mountain View CA. I look forward to seeing you there. Link to tickets.

Happy full Moon,

Susan
