Highlights this week are a new Moon on Friday at 5:34 pm PDT that begins the month of the Water Dog, a wild Dragon Saturday, and a deep double Snake Sunday.

Mon Sept 30 is a lovely Earth Pig day. The Earth Pig is the golden Pig who is fortunate and likes the good things in life. Moon squares Venus to enjoy and live large the way Pig likes it. But Moon conjuncts Mars can be argumentative. Plus Mercury conjuncts Saturn so lighten up any serious conversations on a Pig day. Sun is opposite Uranus and squares Pluto in a T-square so slow down and see the big picture. Luck strong for Pig, Tiger, Rabbit, and Sheep and during Pig hours 9 pm – 11 pm.

Tues Oct 1 is a smart Metal Rat (white Rat) day. Mercury conjuncts Saturn and trines Neptune for serious thought coupled with inspirational new ideas and methods that Rat loves. But Moon is opposite Neptune so can have strange moods or feelings. Plus Venus squares Mars so stay steady in relationships. Not a day to analyze feelings because they change quickly. Luck strong for Rat, Ox, Dragon, and Monkey and during Rat hours 11 pm – 1 am.

Wed Oct 2 is a strong Metal Ox day. Moon trines Pluto for increased sensitivity, and sextiles Saturn to be more serious today. You can get a lot accomplished even though Sun, Uranus, and Neptune are in a problematic T-square. Good day for Oxen team work to complete projects before the new Moon on Friday. Luck strong for Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix (Rooster) and during Ox hours 1 am – 3 am.

Thurs Oct 3 is a deep-feeling Water Tiger day, the intense black Tiger. The Moon opposite Uranus and square Neptune T-square continues so best to slow down — that is not Tiger’s favorite activity. Mercury trines Neptune for creative imagination, and Moon sextiles Venus for love and romance. Not the best day for new endeavors as energy winds down to new Moon tomorrow. Luck strong for Tiger, Dog, Horse, and Pig and during Tiger hours 3 am – 5 am.

Fri Oct 4 is a new Moon at 5:34 pm PDT that begins the month of the Water Dog, or black Dog. A Water month is lucky in this Water Snake year, creating an easier flow of energy. The element Water brings sensitivity and depth of feelings. Dog values honesty, loyalty, and integrity. Uphold these Dog values this month, especially in relationships, to achieve success. Today is a gentle Water Rabbit day to create a peaceful environment because Rabbit loves beauty. Dog month luck is most powerful for Dog, Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.

Sat Oct 5 is an active Wood Dragon (green Dragon) day with a lot going on! Moon sextiles Mars for action, plus Sun and Moon square Jupiter to do things in a big Dragon way. But Sun, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto are in a grand cross so you must slow down. Don’t push the river. Venus squares Mars and Neptune so relationships could be problematic if your partnership expectations are too high. Entertainment or a day out of town helps release pressure. Luck strong for Dragon, Rat, Snake, and Monkey and during Dragon hours 7 am – 9 am.

Sun Oct 6 is a double Snake day; a Wood Snake day in this Water Snake year. Moon conjuncts Mercury and Saturn for deep insights and reflection. Good to carve out some quiet time if possible. Moon and Mercury trine Neptune for creativity and new understanding. Answers can arrive in dreams. Try to heal after the yesterday’s Dragon energy if feeling overwhelmed.
