Feb 12, 2025 at 5:53 am PT is a full Moon in Leo. Fire sign Leo rules the 5th house of art, creativity, and children. Leo the lion is bold, brave, and fearless. This full Moon marks the peak of the lunar month of the Tiger, also a brave animal, so this full Moon could be a powerful time to take action. Just be aware that this full Moon is not the time to take on the world because the Moon, Sun, and Mercury all square Uranus.

The Leo full Moon, plus the Sun and Mercury conjunct in Aquarius, create a fixed square with Uranus in Taurus. This can be disruptive and bring sudden upsets, or your ideas and opinions can be challenged by others whose behavior is upsetting to you. There could be difficulty with restrictions, making it easy to be hasty and jump to incorrect conclusions. Should the pace of life become too rapid, impulsive moves can lead to accidents. During this full Moon, and as the Moon wanes during the next two weeks, suppressed tensions could arise whereby you question your ability to withstand change, and if you really believe in what you are doing.

Fortunately, Mars retrograde in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces. This trine in gentle Water signs brings patience, and the willingness to do difficult or exacting work at a more controlled pace. It is best to concentrate your energy, perform tasks very carefully, and work steadily to build. Conscientious preparation and slower movement are in alignment with the energy of this Snake year to slow down, coil up, and contemplate, then strike when the time is right. Opportunities for Snake contemplation, reflection, and development are for all this full Moon, and are most transformational for Fire signs Leo, Aries, and Sagittarius and those born in Rat, Tiger, Dragon, and Snake years.

Happy full Moon,
Susan
